Hello I’m Emma: Soirée Specialist, MC, and bonafide Instigator of Epic Dance Parties!

Soundtracking special occasions has been a specialty of mine for many years. Both of my parents worked in Radio, which landed me on the mic and learning how to make choice audio selections from an early age. Now as a professional in the field of Performing Arts, I’ve worked with a wide range of music in many dynamic ways, and pride myself on the eclectic playlist curations I’ve made for special occasions large and intimate, for my own dance classes, workshops and performances, and for my weekly radio show on Central Vermont Community Radio in Plainfield, VT.

I have an especially tender spot in my heart for weddings ~ I love celebrating love! Each event & couple is unique and it’s such an honor to be a part of the tailoring to that distinctiveness, from helping to choreograph the couple’s first dance, to the delight of providing a musical score for a dream ceremony & reception, to announcing the newlyweds onto the dance floor, or simply witnessing the devotion to love and cheering on the newlyweds with their family and friends.. I’ve yet to get through one without wiping away a tear or two of pure happiness.

I’m a native Vermonter and feel it’s an especially brilliant place to hold celebrations of all kinds, with endless picturesque destinations and a steady undercurrent of kindness and open-mindedness leading the way. I cherish bringing my enthusiasm and upstanding work ethic all around the state to help create so many treasured memories. I’m proudly detail-oriented and always glad for opportunities to coordinate and collaborate with people to ensure the party can be described as “perfect” in the history books.

When I’m not DJing and geeking out on music, I enjoy working with bodies in motion through my Dance and Personal Training LLC RevelingFitness, making new dance works, curating performance platforms for fellow local artists, and spending time in the woods of Calais Vermont with my family during all four seasons.
