Hello! I’m Emma: Soirée Specialist, Mixtape Geek, MC, and bonafide Instigator of Epic Dance Parties.

Soundtracking special occasions has been an innate love of mine for years. My parents both worked at radio stations which landed me on the mic & practicing making choice audio selections from an early age. 

Now, as a professional in the Performing Arts, I work with music in contexts of teaching and creating dance works, jockeying my own radio programming, and curating music for events from performative to intimate. I’m a native Vermonter & studied Music and Dance at Bennington College before moving to San Francisco where I honed my creative crafts for twelve years and began a career as a fitness professional. I moved back to my beloved Green Mountains in 2018 and live in Central Vermont where I run a Personal Training & Dance Fitness business when I’m not DJing or working on performance productions & creative collaborations. I have some Newlywed’s First Dance credits in my list of Choreographic achievements 🙂 

It’s been a delight to team up with Supersounds and meet other folks who feel Vermont is an especially brilliant place to hold celebrations of all kinds. I love traveling all over the state with set lists I’m always excited to watch unfold as the night goes. I pride myself on the eclectic playlist curations I’ll pre-create alongside my ability to read the room and know what’s needed in each moment. My own music tastes and preferences fall all over the map, but the proficiency in EDM/House, disco/funk, R&B, and anything 90s runs deep. 

I have an especially tender spot in my heart for weddings ~ I love celebrating love! Each one is it’s own unique & precious story and vision, and it’s such an honor to be a part of the tailoring to that distinctiveness. I’m known to get pretty misty eyed during vows and speeches, not ashamed. 

I’m proudly detail-oriented and always up for opportunities to coordinate and collaborate with couples to ensure their day can truly be described as “perfect” in the history books.
